Lansons achieves 'Great Place to Work' success for the sixth year in a row

The 2010 'Great Place to Work Institute' survey results were recently announced and we are proud to be ranked in 14th place in the UK's Top 150.

The Great Place to Work survey is an independent survey that runs in conjunction with the Financial Times.  Last year we year were awarded a prestigious ‘Laureate Award’ which is given to companies who have consistently been in the Top 50 over a five year period, and our success this year makes it our 6th time in the Top 50.

As well as ranking in the Top 150, we were also awarded the 'Health and Wellbeing Excellence Award'. This award recognises how organisations demonstrate a genuine sense of caring for their employees’ health and wellbeing. In particular, The Health and Wellbeing Excellence Award assesses the support and benefits companies provide for their staff and the efforts they promote for a healthy lifestyle, while actively encouraging a good work-life balance.

Lansons were also shortlisted for the 'Corporate Responsibility Excellence' and 'Learning and leadership for sustainability' awards. We were also ranked 5th in the 'Best workplaces for women' category.

Comment from Tony Langham, Chief Executive: “We have great people, with pride in the business who care about each others wellbeing and about doing fantastic work. we communicate honestly about where the company is going and strive to be a good citizen in our communities. Keeping a fresh outlook is important.”
